Monday is for Making it! (and this post is the more the merrier edition)

I have been rather inconsistent in blogging lately and I find that it is because I’m just not sure what to write or how to share what I actual want to share.  In order to remedy this situation, I’m going to post certain categories on certain days with a splattering of others throughout the week.

Starting today, on Mondays I will get you caught up on my progress.  I’ll show either my projects or the yarn I’m using to make secret projects.  Monday1013

Starting with the Ella Rae Classic Superwash – Magenta and Light Grey which is hiding in the back – A simple color work hat for I Like Knitting magazine

Light Blue Fingerless Mitt hiding in the background is a swatch mitt knit in Periwinkle Sheep Watercolors II

Mustard Colored Schachenmayr smc Extra Merino is being worked into a cowl also for I Like Knitting magazine

Snow Cone colored Lion Brand Sock-ease is attempting to become a lacy scarf for independent release

Sea Spray Lion Brand Wool-ease is a swatch hat for a mystery knit-a-long in the One Skein KAL group on Ravelry

And last but not least – A plain vanilla cuff down sock in Cascade Heritage Paints in Intense Colors

Whoa, six projects!  I’m typically a one project kind of gal.  This is intense listing them all out here in the open.  I’m only actively working on the two projects for I Like Knitting at the moment.  I will work a few rounds on the sock when the complication of the hat and cowl are too much but it is crunch time with them so knit knit knit.

* In true lack of preparation –  I went to take pictures of my projects and realized my camera batteries need to be changed.  Sorry for the cell phone picture.
