So after much debate about going Craftsy or not as well as discussion with other designers, I’ve decided to do it. I’m not releasing all of my patterns immediately on Craftsy but will be staggering them until they’re all up throughout the upcoming months. Any of my new releases from here on will be added to Craftsy and Ravelry on the same date. As of right now, I won’t be adding my free patterns and leaving those for Ravelry only members.
The first one I added to Craftsy, Stony Hollow Shawl, is also the first paid pattern I released on Ravelry. This is a DK Weight Shawl that uses approx. 300 yards. I knit and gave it to my daughter’s kindergarten teacher as her end of year present; which was very well received. It is simple enough to bring along in a bag and work on here and there without losing your place but just patterned enough to keep it interesting.
As always, I can be found here on the blog, on Facebook, Ravelry, now on Craftsy. I do have a Google+ account but will admit, it is not something I check regularly. As always, I’m open to emails and Ravelry PMs. I’m looking forward to interacting with you and also expanding my fan base!
